This summer has been overly hot and dry here so I am especially thankful that August has arrived! We are that much closer to autumn!!

My first project is a card I made using the new Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper. It is such a warm and rustic set of colors!

The medallion-looking stamp is actually from Ornament Keepsakes stamp set! Now, who says you have to use Christmas stamps JUST for Christmas?!? Not me! ;-)

INK:  Early Espresso, Raspberry Ripple

OTHER: Dimensionals, Raspberry Ripple 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Basic Pearls

My second project is super-simple concept: a strand of garland!

Since it's still summer, I thought I would choose two colors that still remind me of the sun and ocean!

I stamped the images, again, using Ornament Keepsakes. I then cut them out using the AWESOME coordinating Holiday Ornament Framelits! I then glued two back-to-back on a piece of Baker's Twine, stringing beads in between each set as I went.

Now imagine some of the possibilities for this project:

• Christmas tree garland
• party decorations
• jewellery (I would suggest coating it in Crystal Effects first)
• jazz up a mason jar or vase
  
  ...and the list could go on! :-)
