A Christmas Hop!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas with the snow and bitterly cold temperatures!! A perfect reason to stay inside and go on another All Things Stampin' Up! Blog Hop, wouldn't you say?? :-)

This month's hop is about all things Christmas!! I love Christmas!!

It was certainly hard to narrow down what cards I would showcase this month but I picked a couple and I will try to post a few more in the next post.

Once again, I am joined by a bunch of other talented Stampin’ Up! demonstrators!! Just click the arrows at the end of this posting and you will be taken to the next stop on the hop. Here are all the other bloggers participating this month:

1.  Anastasia Radloff
5. Nancy Berg (That's me!)
6.  Anji Pearson-Clements
8. Tonya L Ball
10.  Jenn Van Wart

The selections this month are all fairly simple so any of them would be suitable for making multiple sets as Christmas cards.

The first card features The Sounding Joy stamp set from the Holiday Mini. This is definitely one of my favorite sets in the mini catalog! The stars were cut out using our Stars #2 die. They were then stamped and heat embossed and then folded in half. They were then all stuck together to fold the 3D star. The silver background is our glimmer paper cut with the lattice die. The card itself was a piece of Night of Navy cardstock folded in half and cut using out Bigz Clear Scallop Square die. (If you place the folded edge just inside the square die, it will make a super-cute square card!!)

PAPER: Night Of Navy, Silver Glimmer Paper
STAMPS: The Sounding Joy, Come To Bethlehem
INK: Versamark
TOOLS: Heat Gun, Big Shot, Lattice Die, Stars #2 Die, Bigz Clear Scallop Square Die,
OTHER: Basic Rhinestones, Silver Embossing Powder

On the next card, I love the look of real Red and Cherry Cobbler together! And I LOVE the striped grosgrain ribbon! I sponged some in over the embossed poinsettias so to give them a bit more dimension.

PAPER: Cherry Cobbler, Real Red, Very Vanilla
STAMPS: The Sounding Joy
INK: Versamark, Real Red
TOOLS: Heat Gun, Big Shot, Petal-A-Plenty Embossing Folder
OTHER: Basic Pearls, Sponge Daubers, Dimensionals, Cherry Cobbler 1 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon

Well, thanks for stopping by and be sure to stop by the next stop on the hop!!

Stay Warm!!

Very pretty cards, the combo of Real Red and Cherry Cobbler is not one that I would have tried but I love how they look together!

Love both of your cards Nancy but I really, really like what you did on The Sounding Joy card. Different than all the other sounding joy cards I have seen.

Wow, great cards! I love what you did with the set on the first card. Very original and very different from what most others I've seen. Great job!
